GasAlertQuattro multi gas monitor by BW Technologies
After many years of intense research and development, BW Technologies by Honeywell introduces the state of the art Gas Alert Quattro Multigas Detector. BW Technologies aspires to be the world’s leading supplier of gas detection equipment and consistently produces some of the world’s greatest gas detection systems. This unit fits in perfectly with its previous designs and features an easy to operate and read user interface, intelligent flash system, and system durability. The simple portable design helps to reduce training time and costs while ensuring the highest standards of workplace safety.
One Button Operation and Easy to Read Display
The easy to use one button operation system is effective and cost efficient by reducing training costs and training time. The one button system is glove friendly and complemented by an easy to read user interface. The user interface provides intuitive constant readings of gas levels and battery status. The simple design is ideal for hazardous working conditions when users need to be aware of their environment and less concerned with complicated equipment. The easy to read user interface displays consistent and simultaneous readings of all gases, battery status, and sensor status. This information is displayed on a very easy to read display that is free of any distractors and unnecessary information.
Standard features
The IntelliFlash feature is one of the more unique aspects of the Gas Alert Quattro multigas detector. The easily identifiable illuminated indicator signals to users and those nearby that the detector is operational and functioning correctly. The top mounted flash system provides a steady and consistent green light signal at regular intervals during the time when the unit is operational. This feature eliminates the need for guesswork when in potentially hazardous working conditions.
Powered by SureCell Sensors
Utilizing the most advanced technology available, Honeywell’s SureCell Sensor is a revolution in electrochemical technology. The patented cell technology is designed to detect a wide range of toxins while maintaining a resistance to common industrial gas interference errors. This focus on detection integrity improves sensor performance and reliability.
Rugged and Durable
This multigas detector was made with the high standards of durability in mind. The built in concussion proof boot protects the detector from regular every day hazards and accidental drops. The unit features durable bumpers to protect the internal circuitry and render the device resilient against abusive working conditions. As an added safety feature, the heavy-duty outer casing is dyed a vivid yellow hue. This reduces the likelihood that users might accidentally set down the device while on the workplace and walk away. The bright color is not likely to blend in to the background and acts as an additional safety feature for one of BW Technologies’ most intelligent gas detection designs.
Gas Alert Quattro Specifications
The Gas Alert Quattro Multigas Detector is portable (with dimensions of 5.1 x 3.2 x 1.9 inches) and lightweight (weighing less than 12 ounces). The device is also compatible with AA alkaline batteries of rechargeable battery packs. With alkaline batteries, users can expect approximately 14 hours of runtime, and with rechargeable batteries, users can expect between 18 and 20 hours. The Gas Alert Quattro is compatible with sensors for Hydrogen Sulfide, Carbon Monoxide, Oxygen, and Combustible gases at various detection and resolution ranges. The device and all of its sensors include a full two year warranty.

Dave
from Iowa asked:
February 16, 2015
How often does this unit need to be re-calibrated?
1 Answer
Hello Dave! Every application is different so calibration schedules are different for each application. To stay compliant with OSHA standards, it should be calibrated no less than every 180 days. But the safety director for your facility, or job site, would be the one to refer to for what your calibration schedule should be. Thank you!
