how can I remove the H2S sensor from the monitor, and to keep it from registering the system, I have put a blank sensor, it still register it as failed.
1 Answer
Hi Fred,
In order to turn off the H2S sensor you would need to hook up the GasAlertMax XT II to your computer using the IR connectivity kit and Fleet Manager II Software. Once the instrument is connected to Fleet Manager you will see the option to turn off the H2S sensor.
The IR connectivity kit can be found at https://www.jjstech.com/ga-usb1-ir.html.
Fleet Manager II can be downloaded at: https://support.jjstech.com/support/solutions/articles/30957-bw-fleet-manager-ii-version-4-4-20

How do change language to english
1 Answer
Hi Adam,
You would first need to purchase the USB to infrared adaptor, part number GA-USB1-IR. Then you would load Fleet Manager 2 Software onto your computer. Once you have done this you can then connect the instrument to your computer and make the change in the software.

Please i would like to order Constant Flow Hand Aspirated Pump could you tell me right specification compatible for BW GASALERTMAX XTII multi gas monitor
1 Answer
The GasAlert Max XT II is not compatible with a hand aspirator pump. That is due to the internal sampling pump in this meter. Models compatible with the hand aspirator pump include: GasAlert Quattro, GasAlert Extreme, GasAlert MicroClip XL, and GasAlert MicroClip X3.

my monitor displays block inlet. what does that mean
1 Answer
The Max XT II does a pump test on startup. It is looking for a change in the flow rate. Use your index finger to cover the pump inlet. The screen will then display UNBLOCK INLET and it will continue with the startup
