Replacing the ToxiPro®and the GasAlert Extreme, the Honeywell BW™ Solo is the new generation of detector, offering a full selection of sensor choices. Upgrading to the Honeywell BW™ Solo allows you to:
|
Smaller Size
The smaller size and lightweight design make the Honeywell BW™ Solo a top choice for any workplace or environment.
Simplicity of Design
The Honeywell BW™ Solo is simple in its design, making it easy to change out sensor filters, batteries, and even the sensor anywhere in the field. No tools required, just pop open and door and complete the replacement.
A Full Range Of Sensor Options
Regardless of the workplace or the type of exotic or common gas detection required, the Honeywell BW™ Solo offers the right sensor of the job.
The detector can be used for:
- Carbon monoxide (CO)
- Chlorine dioxide (ClO2)
- Chlorine (Cl2)
- Oxygen (O2)
- Ozone (O3)
- Sulfur dioxide (SO2)
- Nitrogen dioxide (NO2)
- Hydrogen cyanide (HCN)
- Hydrogen sulfide (H2S)
- Hydrogen (H2)
- Ethylene oxide (ETO)
- Phosphine (PH3)
- Nitrogen oxide (NO)
- Ammonia (NH3)
Safer Workplaces And Greater Accuracy With the 1-Series Sensor
For frequent gas monitoring needs, the 1-Series sensor offers a durable, reliable sensor that offers a fast response as well as a long duty cycle. Using next-generation technology, this sensor offers more than just a basic detector while providing top performance in extreme environments.
When Detection Speed Matters
For rapid detection of O2, H2S, and CO, the 1-Series sensor's square design and lower profile allows for rapid diffusion of the gas for faster detection and more accurate readings. As a small system, it is also streamlined and easy to work with, even in cramped locations.
Warranty Benefits
With typical use, the 1-Series sensor has a life cycle of up to five years, and it comes with a full three-year warranty. This means longer use, less downtime, and an increased ROI.
Developed In-House
The 1-Series sensor was developed by City Technologies, a Honeywell company. They are also the company that designed and developed the 40XV and the long life 40xLL oxygen sensor that are used in the Honeywell BW detectors.
No Nuisance Alarms
Are you frustrated with false alarms with your current detectors? The 1-Series sensor is highly reliable and accurate and can be used in areas with high humidity and transient pressures, as well as temperatures of -40°C to 60°C.
Easy Switching on the Job
Replacing a sensor has never been easier. With no need for specialized tools of complicated processes, just remove the old sensor and replace it with the sensor of your choice.
Greater Fleet Management Efficiency And Data Centralization
Streamlining data collection and management throughout the fleet provides greater efficiency while saving you time and money. Automated fleet management is simple with the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software and the IntelliDox.
Docking for Data Transfer and More
The IntelliDox makes it easy to simply put the detector in the dock to transfer test results and perform specific actions. These actions include changing set points, completing bump tests, turning on bump reminders, or calibration. It is an efficient way to update firmware for the Honeywell BW™ Solo. The software allows data to be sent to a storage computer over USB or Ethernet connection.
Grouping IntelliDox allows for up to five docks to be grouped together. Each can be used to control a specific detector independently, and all have a unique keypad, pump, cutting edge LCD screen, and operation options. Power and calibration gas are shared with the group for efficiency.
Manage Compliance in One Place
The Device Configurator operates on Windows-based software and allows for centralized import, viewing, and export of data across all detectors. It also allows for convenient configuration of set points, firmware update deployment, and compliance, safety, and productivity monitoring.
Adding Cloud Technology
For even greater versatility and access to data, plan to subscribe and upgrade to the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Manager that is a cloud-based service. This allows you to:
- See all detectors in the fleet in one easy to use interface
- Receive immediate text and email notifications of alarms
- Configure your reporting requirements
- Maximize compliance across the fleet
- Have all data in one convenient and accessible location
Additional benefits in linking your smartphone with the detector.
As part of the Connected Worker portfolio offered by Honeywell, wireless technology makes managing the detector even easier. |
Setup, Configuration, and Verification with an App
The Device Configurator app can be used to configure the Honeywell BW™ Solo detector with ease. This includes setting up the detector, choosing alarm set points, and setting up specific actions. Using BLE or Bluetooth Low Energy technology, this can all be done from up to six meters away.
The app is also handy to check calibration and bump data, and to access information on which worker performed the calibration, when the calibration was done, and what gas was tested. Additionally, it can email a certificate as needed or even manage firmware updates.
No Docking Station? No Problem
It is possible to easily and conveniently access data from the Honeywell BW™ Solo using wireless BLE. This allows the detector to share information with the desktop software from all detectors in the fleet.
Staying Connected
The Honeywell Safety Communicator mobile app allows immediate and real-time access to data without the need for docking, as well as information on worker location and safety. From your smartphone app, all types of readings and data are sent to our monitoring software. Managers can access the data from remote locations as long as they have an internet connection.Safety, Compliance and Peace of Mind
Full Control at the Push of a Button
Working in the field means working with gloves and safety gear, and the Honeywell BW™ Solo takes this into consideration with a one-button operation. Both the button and the Honeywell SafetySuite Device Configurator software can be used to configure and adjust the detector parameters with ease. Measuring for time-weighted average (TWA) and short-term exposure limit, as well as the highest gas levels in the past 24-hours, are also accessible.Detector Compliance or Non-Compliance
With just a glance at the Honeywell BW™ Solo, workers can see if it is in compliance or is not in compliance. The flashing green lights on the IntelliFlash™ system means it is bump tested and correctly functioning. Blinking red lights signal a problem, including a low battery, calibration or bump testing needs or gas event has occurred.
Easy to Detect Alarms
For noisy work environments, the Honeywell BW™ Solo offers audible alarms, vibrating patterns and red lights around the detector to signal danger.
Usage and Configuration
Assigned Detectors
Assigning detectors to workers and locations ensures precise location of gas events and user information.
Peak Readings on 24-Hour Rolling Basis
High gas levels that do not reach alarm parameters are still critical to track. The Honeywell BW™ Solo provides data for a rolling 24-hours, including peak gas readings for early detection of problems.
Language Options
Designed for use around the world, the Honeywell BW™ Solo provides gas readings in all major languages, including Japanese, Russian, English, Korean, Spanish, and French.
