6501-0E Multi-function Hot-wire Anemometer by Kanomax
An anemometer is a measurement tool to assess wind speed or pressure. Unlike previous versions of anemometers that used windmills or cups, hot wire anemometers use a very thin heated wire. As air flows past the wire, it cools the wire. Thus, the electrical resistance of the wire is affected by the temperature change. The anemometer is then able to measure the resistance change of the wire. The use of hot wires allows anemometers to be compact and portable. The equipment does not need to be bulky, and it can even be a handheld device. Kanomax makes one of the most accurate and reliable hot wire wind assessment tools in the industry.

It also simultaneously measures air temperature, air velocity, humidity, pressure, and flow rate. The sleek ergonomically designed handheld unit has an anti slip grip for ease of use. This model also has a large backlit display with various readouts.
