Safety Communicator is an app available for the use with both industrialgrade and non-industrial-grade smartphones, serving as a personal information and communication hub for industrial workers.

Part of ConneXt Safety Solutions, Safety Communicator installed on a smartphone receives data from a personal safety device via Bluetooth® and relays it in real time to a remote host controller. It enables constant visibility of your workers' safety, so you can make fast, informed decisions to protect your workers, prevent a crisis and optimize operations.

With Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology, Safety Communicator is a great way to get wireless connectivity without the expense of a private network. And if you already have a Wi-Fi or mesh network, Safety Communicator helps ensure continuous wireless monitoring when a worker is out of range. Simply pair your safety device with the intrinsically safe, ruggedized, glove-friendly smartphone or with any other certified smartphone running Android OS or Apple iOS.

Then use the Safety Communicator smartphone app to send data from the device through a publicly available cellular network to the real-time monitoring software in a remote location.
