GA-USB2 IR DataLink USB Adaptor
One of the great features of the GasAlertExtreme and GasAlertClipExtreme is it's ability to datalog. This can come in handy when a record is needed of the levels of gas concentration and alarms during a certain period of time. However, to get this data out of the instrument an IR Datalink is needed. Simply plug the USB end into your computer and orient the datalink so that it is facing the instrument. Once this is done your data can be wirelessly uploaded to your computer where it can be analyzed, charted, saved, or emailed.
Note: Only works with Excel 2003 or earlier.

does this product work with Windows 7? I have downloaded and installed FM2 and the GA-USB1 drivers for Windows 7 but I have noticed this is model No GA-USB2.
1 Answer
As noted in the product description on the GA-USB2, this will only install properly if you have a copy of Microsoft Excel 2003 or earlier. If you have newer copies of Excel installed, it will not work at all. Also, it uses EDM software rather than Fleet Manager II and that can be found here: www.jjstech.com/sodo.html
