Casella CEL-240 Digital Sound Level Meter
The Casella CEL-240 Digital Sound Level Meter uses Digital Signal Processing technology to monitor and measure noise hazards in your environment. The meter is simple and efficient in its design. With its state of the art technology and convenient design, the Casella CEL-240 is a completely new design for digital sound level meters.
Exclusive Features
The Casella CEL-240 Digital Sound Level Meter has several exclusive features the render it suitable for everyday tasks in a variety of industrial applications. First, its 2 button operation system is incredibly user friendly, and its large graphic LCD display is easy to read at 128 x 128 pixels. The screen also has a large numeric and analog bar graph display. It also offers a wide range of sound monitoring from 30 to 130 decibels and simultaneously displays the current and the highest noise levels. The unit also automatically calibrates at either 114 or 94 1kHz decibel levels. The meter can be mounted on a tripod for fixed measurement applications and will run for up to 35 hours on its own.

The meter covers a full 70 decibels on each low and high measurement range, and the CEL-240 meter is suitable for a variety of industrial applications including:

Casella CEL-240 Digital Sound Level Meter Specifications
The digital sound level meter has a ¼ inch electret microphone in standard ¼ inch housing. It has an operating temperature range of 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit. It is powered by either 3 AA alkaline batteries or rechargeable battery packs. It is a convenient size for portability with dimensions of 2.8 x 8.3 x 1.2 inches and less than 9 ounces. Each unit comes standard with an initial individual factory calibration. It has a measurement range of 30 to 130 decibels and 70 decibel dynamic span on a single range.
