Kanomax Vane Anemometers: Anemomaster Model 6810 Series
Today’s technologically advanced anemometers can perform a variety of tasks that were not available with preceding models. Using propeller technology, vane anemometers accurately tell both wind speed and wind direction. This type of anemometer is the most ideal instrument for measuring air flow in controlled settings, such as ventilation shafts. The Anemomaster 6810 Series combines modern science with time tested mechanical engineering to ensure 1% accuracy and measure air flow in conditions as low as 40 feet per minute. The sleek user friendly design is intuitive and easy to operate. Its screen readily displays the readings, and the buttons are labeled for the user. The Anemomaster 6810 Series is suitable for use in HVAC ventilation, HVAC balancing, manufacturing control, laboratory control, internal air quality investigations, industrial hygiene quality control, and flow hood monitoring.
Exclusive Anemomaster Model 6810 Series Features
This particular device has several features that are unique to the Kanomax Anemomaster 6810 Series. The tool has a very high accuracy reading of +/- 1%. It will also measure and display the temperature from -22 degrees to +212 degrees Fahrenheit. The device measures relative humidity in the range of 5% to 95%. The device is compatible with modern office equipment and has an analog output or optional USB PC communication. The device is durable and the vane and probe are made of sturdy metal. The device is also built with an incredibly long lasting battery.
Anemomaster Specifications
The two different probes have different measurement ranges for air flow. With the AP275 probe, the range is 40 to 7800 FPM. With the AP100 probe, the range is 60 to 6800 FPM. While the standard temperature probe measures -22 to +212 degrees Fahrenheit, the optional temperature probe measures between -139 and +332 degrees Fahrenheit. The easy to read screen is .5 inches with a backlight and 4 digit allowance. The device operates on 3 AA alkaline batteries and has a battery life of approximately 150 hours. The handheld instrument has compact dimensions of 3.2 x 1.5 x 6.5 inches. The Anemomaster 6810 Series has several standard accessories:
- 1 rotating vane probe head
- Either an AP275 or AP100 probe head
- HTP combination relative humidity and temperature probe
- Extension rod with hand grip
- Flexible rod
- 3 AA 1.5 volt alkaline batteries
- Operation manual
- Carrying case
The Anemomaster 6810 Series has several optional accessories as well, including a protective rubber boot and splash-proof seal, USB communications, RS232 communications, analog 0 to 5 volt output, additional probe, extra extension rods, extra flexible rods, custom cable lengths, immersion RTD temperature probe, surface RTD temperature probe, and air RTD temperature probe.
