Kanomax Handheld Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitor
Indoor air pollutants can be significantly worse than the pollutants outside. Microbial pollutants and toxic gases can cause dangerous working and living conditions. Toxic conditions for indoor air quality can manifest from a variety of means: toxic elements, poor ventilation, and natural gases. Some worksites are more prone to dangerous indoor air elements than others. For this reason, Kanomax manufactures a range of products to measure and monitor indoor air quality. The Kanomax Handheld Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitor is a multi-functional tool that measure carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide concentration levels in the environment. The unit also measures temperature and humidity levels.
Exclusive Kanomax Indoor Air Quality Monitor Features
The Kanomax Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) Monitor has several exclusive features that set this instrument above the rest. The device features a quick start up and is very easy to operate. The device also has incredibly high accuracy readings. Besides gas levels, temperature, and humidity, the IAQ Monitor also calculates dew point, wet bulb temperature, absolute humidity, humidity ratio, and percent outside air. The monitor also has a data logging feature that allows users to hold, recall, and record the maximum, minimum, and average data. This feature can store up to 1500 measurements. It also comes with an easy to use PC interface and software for real time data. In line with its user friendliness, the device can also self calibrate at the command of the user.
Specifications and Inclusions
The monitor has incredibly accurate carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide readings ranging from 0 to 500 ppm with +/- 3% reading accuracy. The unit can operate and monitor temperatures from -4 to 140 degrees Fahrenheit and a 2 to 98% relative humidity range. The monitor operates on either 6 AA alkaline batteries or an AC adaptor. The entire handheld device is portable and lightweight (under 1 pound) with dimensions of 3.4 x 7.4 x 1.6 inches. Its most common applications are for indoor air quality investigations, ventilation testing, thermal comfort control, and monitoring toxic gases.
The Kanomax Indoor Air Quality Monitor comes standard with several accessories. Included in the monitor, users will also receive
- a probe with a 79 inch cable
- a probe stand
- a calibration cap and connection tube
- data processing software and the necessary cable
- Serial- USB converter
- 6 AA alkaline batteries
- a carrying case
- an NIST traceable calibration certificate
