The Casella NOMAD Portable Weather Station consists of 3 main parts: tripod, data logger, and sensor. Each part is lightweight for a total carrying weight of 28 pounds. When assembled, the weather station sensors are 6 feet above the ground, and the tripod measures 3 feet in diameter. Each of the 3 components comes with a custom made carrying kit. When purchasing the unit, purchasers will also receive a ground anchoring kit, a compass, and PC software. The built in data logger can record more than 3 months of information.
