Using the most advanced Smart Cell technologies, the Manning EC-P2 by Honeywell is a completely portable electrochemical data logging gas leak detector.
Ease of use
The handheld device is portable and easy to use on the worksite. The battery operated detector measures and logs data for gas concentrations in ambient air. Its interchangeable sensors can be used for over a dozen different gases. The smart cell data can import easily into an excel spreadsheet, and the sampling mode captures data in a controlled readable manner. It contains approximately 12,000 data points of memory. The electrochemical sensors for the Manning EC-P2 provide maximum sensitivity with very little interference. The easy to read backlit LCD screen displays real time gas concentration readings.
For full portability, the Manning EC-P2 includes interchangeable target gas selective electrochemical sensors, a charger, a storage case, data logging software, and a RS-232 cable output. The standard unit includes all items that a user may need for maximum portability and onsite performance.
Standard Features
The Manning EC-P2 by Honeywell has several standard safety features. The unit features two concentration alarms that can be completely adjusted to user specifications and a zero drift caution. To protect the device’s functioning, the unit has alarms for low flow and low battery. The unit also features a very long battery life. Its primary power source has approximately 45 hours of runtime and utilizes a C alkaline battery. The unit can also be powered by a standby rechargeable NiCad battery that can provide an additional 6 hours of operation.
The electrochemical Smart Cell gas sensors have internally stored gas calibration settings. The sensors measure gas concentrations without the need for calibration and can be exchanged quickly. Each sensor is designed for both industrial and commercial environments and can withstand harsh environments.
Manning Ec-P2 Specifications
The portable light weight detector weighs approximately 1.8 pounds and is approximately 3.5” x 5” x 8.5”. The typical memory storage is approximately 8 days at 1 minute storage intervals.
The device has optional accessories including an analog output cable and a cell keeper for the storage of additional cell sensors.
