90446-24 Ceramic Insulated Thermocouple Probe 8 Ga. 18" Length Twist and Tig Weld by Digi-Sense

Straight base and angle base metal thermocouple elements can serve as replacements compatible with many manufacturers' thermocouple assemblies. The angle base metal thermocouple elements are shipped in a straight configuration and are to be bent at the time of installation. The insulators at the bend are ball and socket style, while the hot and cold legs are covered with two-hole oval ceramic insulators.

Features

  • Oval ceramic element insulators (0.500" X 0.281")
  • Type K (Chromel / Alumel) 8 Gauge Thermocouples

Specifications

The HR-160 alloy of nickel-chromium-cobalt contains an appreciable addition of silicon which promotes very good high temperature corrosion resistance. Applications for this protection tube include industrial furnaces, incinerators, kilns, heat exchangers.

Inconel 600 is a nickel-chromium alloy designed for use from cryogenic to elevated temperatures in the range of 2000° F (1093° C). The high nickel content of the alloy enables it to retain considerable resistance under reducing conditions and makes it resistant to corrosion by a number of organic and inorganic compounds.
