Thermometer includes a weatherproof remote sensor to measure remote and ambient temperatures at the same time. Dual display shows both indoor and outdoor temperature readings at the same time. Sits on desktop or can be wall mounted.

Does this unit require a probe that goes from the unit to the outside of the house or is the information transmitted electronically to the unit with separate sensor outside? I there a similar unit available that provides both temp and humidity??

The probe that is attached to this instrument is a wired probe.
