Casella CEL-630 Occupational Integrating Real Time Noise Analyzer
Noise exposure is a major concern for industrial workers. In order to know which hearing protection devices are the most appropriate for a given workplace, worksite managers will need to test and evaluate the noise conditions throughout a typical work day. The Casella CEL-630 Occuprational Integrating Real Time Noise Analyzer offers a cost-effective solution to meet that need. With its wide measurement range and convenient design, the analyzer is a useful and necessary tool to improve workplace safety.
In many workplace settings the noise levels fluctuate widely throughout the day. The CEL-630 continuously measures noise levels and stores that data for later readings. The analyzer can tell you the minimum and maximum level throughout the day as well as the average level. These are annotated with their time of occurrence as well. Certain filters can also provide users with real time frequency analysis of tonal noise levels. This is useful for determining appropriate hearing protections or noise reduction solutions.
Unique Key Features
The Casella CEL-630 Real Time Noise Analyzer has a number of user friendly features:
- Wide range of dynamic measurements from 20 to 140 decibels on a single span
- A, C, and Z simultaneous frequency weightings
- Large graphic display (240 x 320 color pixel)
- User friendly menu structure
- Data logging of complete overall run results up to 999 runs
- Optional accessories for customization
Casella CEL-630 Specifications
The analyzer is available in ANSI/IEC class 1 and class 2 accuracy ratings, and its frequency filters comply with ANSI SI.11 and IEC 61260. The unit has an operating temperature range of 14 to 122 degrees Fahrenheit for class 1 rating, and 32 to 104 degrees Fahrenheit for class 2 rating. It operates by 3 AA alkaline batteries or NiMH rechargeable batteries. Without the use of the backlight, the CEL-630 analyzer has up to 12 hours of battery life. It is convenient for portability with dimensions of 2.8 x 10.5 x 1.2 inches and weighs approximately 10 ounces. It is also features a tripod socket through a standard camera thread for fixed measurements.
